Star Wars Outlaws: All Characters

Star Wars Outlaws has a number of characters ranging from the game’s protagonist, Kay Vess, to some truly troublesome crime bosses and the nefarious Sliro.

The Star Wars universe has always had strong characters that have become legends themselves. Fortunately, it seems like Star Wars Outlaws, the very first open-world Star Wars game, is attempting to continue that trend with its roster of scoundrels, crime bosses, and cute companions.

All Characters in Star Wars Outlaws

There are 11 important characters that have currently been confirmed to be in Star Wars Outlaws. While more will be announced at a later date, here are all the characters we currently know of:

Kay Vess

Kay Vess is the game’s protagonist and is being voiced by Humberly González. She grew up on the streets of Canto Bight, the city introduced in The Last Jedi, learning her skills as a thief and an outlaw. She wants nothing more than to escape her life of constantly looking over her shoulder, so she decides to head to the stars in search of her final score.

Nix

Nix is the trust companion of Kay Vess and is voiced by Dee Bradley Baker. It is a Merqaal, a brand-new species invented specifically for Star Wars Outlaws. It’s been following Kay around since she was a kid on Canto Bight and helps her get up to all kinds of mischief. Together, they’re unstoppable.

ND-5

ND-5 is a BX Commando droid voiced by Jay Rincon. He’s been around since the Clone Wars, surviving the war and moving on to serving his own interests as a personal enforcer. While his loyalties remain unclear, he’s currently aiding Kay in her quest to become the greatest scoundrel.

Sliro

Sliro is the antagonist of Star Wars Outlaws and the head of the Zerek Besh crime syndicate. Based in Canto Bight, the Zerek Besh are on the rise. While the Empire is distracted by the Rebellion, Sliro works in the shadows to build up his empire. That is, of course, until Kay Vess wrongs him, and he sets out on a crusade to take her down.

Danka

Danka is a fixer, someone who sets up jobs for outlaws such as Kay Vess. While she often helps Kay in a pinch, she’s not to be trusted. She’ll side with whoever has the most coin, whether that’s Kay and her team or the deadly Empire.

Jaylen Vrax

Jaylen Vrax is a master criminal, famous for pulling off some of the most daring heists the galaxy has ever known. He’s got a close relationship with Kay, guiding her and warning her against Sliro and his criminal empire.

Lady Qi’ra

Lady Qi’ra is the leader of the Crimson Dawn, a crime syndicate that was once run by the nefarious Dryden Vos. She’s ruthless but not without kindness. Many will recognize her as the character Emilia Clarke played in the film Solo: A Star Wars Story. It looks like she’ll have a very important role to play in the story.

Jabba the Hutt

Jabba the Hutt needs no introduction. He’s the leader of the Hutt crime family and a famous Star Wars villain. Of course, now that you’re on the side of the galaxy’s worst, you may want to consider rubbing shoulders with the slimeball.

Vail

Vail is a famous bounty hunter who is hired by Sliro to take Kay down. While she’s powerful in her own right, she’s quick not to underestimate her foes. Her initial attempts to stop Kay are unsuccessful, but that won’t stop her from getting what she wants, or at least what she’s paid for.

Pyke Syndicate Boss

While we don’t have a name for this character just yet, this is the leader of the Pyke crime syndicate. He’s appeared in a number of trailers and promotional material, and it seems like you’ll have to win him over if you need his help.

Ashiga Clan Leader

We also see the leader of the Ashiga Clan, a crime syndicate made exclusively for Star Wars Outlaws that are based on the planet of Kijimi. They believe in a strict code of honor and believe in the survival of the collective.

Unnamed Rodian Crew Member

Kay Vess will need all the help she can get if she’s going to pull off some of the most daring heists, and it seems like this Rodian might help. While they don’t have a name, they appear in the trailer as Kay says, “If we’re going to pull this off, we need the right crew.” So, it’s safe to say they’ll likely be a recruitable crew member.
