The world of LEGO Fortnite is vast, with over four different biomes for players to explore and forage through. Previously, we detailed how players can locate the Lava Caves in the Dry Valley desert biome of the game, and here are all the details on finding and preparing for the Ice Caves in LEGO Fortnite.
Where to Find the Ice Caves in Lego Fortnite
Players can locate the Ice Caves in the Frostlands biome of LEGO Fortnite. The area is easy to identify as it is completely covered in snow. Players will have to search around the region for cave locations, which, from the outside, look almost identical to typical caves found in the Grasslands. Once players explore and exit the cave, an icon will appear on their map for future reference.
Players will know they have found an Ice Cave because they are the only ones appearing in the Frostlands region. Also, when entering the cave, the entire interior is covered in ice.
How to Prepare for Ice Caves in LEGO Fortnite
Players must craft cold-resistance Charms or food to prepare for Ice Caves in LEGO Fortnite. Either option is a good choice. However, bringing Inner Fire Charms will give you more health and an increase in defense, so you take less damage. Additionally, an Epic tier Sword will enable you to fend off powerful enemies, like the Cursed Wolf. The following recipes are recommended for trekking into the Frostlands:
- Inner Fire Charm
- 3x Wool Thread, 5x Cut Ruby, 8x Brightcore, 3x Blast Core
- Epic Sword
- 12x Iron bars
- Torch
- 3x Wood, 5x Vines
Players can stack multiple of the same Charm. Therefore, it would be best to craft the Rare Inner Fire Charm three times to allow for additional cold resistance and increased health and defense.
An Epic Sword is necessary as everything in the Frostlands hits hard and is unforgiving. The highest-tier sword is your best chance of putting any threats down, especially in Ice Caves. Although a Torch will not only give you a little added warmth in the Frostlands, visibility in the biome is much lower, and the Torch will help when the night arrives.

Each cave in LEGO Fortnite has different types of resources that players can locate and mine within. The caves in each biome present other materials, and the Ice Caves are no different. The extensive cave systems allow players to earn many resources in just one trip. Below are the examples of what to expect when exploring the Ice Caves:

- Chests containing assorted resources and food
- Cursed Bones
- Wood
- Granite
