Official Star Wars Outlaws Release Date Leaked Early

Star Wars Outlaws has had its official release date leaked early and by none other than Ubisoft itself. Here’s when it’s coming.

It’s fair to say that Star Wars Outlaws hype has been at an all-time high since it was initially announced. It has suffered a number of delays, as is expected of most triple-A games these days. Fortunately, for those wondering when they are finally going to be able to get their hands, it’s actually much sooner than you may have expected.

Star Wars Outlaws Release Date Leaks Early

Just hours before Star Wars Outlaws’ first official story trailer was to drop on YouTube, its release date leaked. This is thanks to Ubisoft Japan’s YouTube premiere page for the trailer, which accidentally included the full release date. It’s safe to say, then, that the trailer will include the release date as well. So, it’s only really leaked a few hours early.

So, when is Ubisoft’s Star Wars open world epic dropping? Star Wars Outlaws’ release date is officially Friday, August 30, 2024. We had previously predicted the game’s release date, although we were just a little off. This was because the ESRB rating was revealed, which teased that the game may be released sooner than we expected.

It’s also worth noting that the premiere page mentioned that players can access the game three days early if they get the Gold or Ultimate Edition. This would mean that, for those who really can’t wait, Star Wars Outlaws will be released on Tuesday, August 27, 2024. It also likely means that there will be a Season Pass, much like Ubisoft’s other games, such as the recent Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.

So, we won’t have long to wait until Star Wars Outlaws drops. We’ll obviously get to see more during the Ubisoft Forward event happening later this year, as well as this upcoming story trailer. However, it’s hard not to feel like we really don’t know much about it. This is despite it dropping in just 4 months. Hopefully, Ubisoft won’t be shy about the details, especially as this is their first Star Wars game since 2006’s Star Wars: Lethal Alliance.
