Redfall – May 2
Redfall is an upcoming open-world, single player and co-op FPS game developed by Arkane Austin, known for their award-winning games Prey and Dishonored.
The game is set in the island town of Redfall, Massachusetts, which is under siege by vampires who have cut off the town from the outside world. Players can explore the open world and unravel the mystery behind the vampires’ appearance.
Redfall allows players to either play alone or squad up with up to four players for co-op play, with teammates able to try different hero loadouts and combine their strengths to find creative solutions to the vampire apocalypse.
The game features diverse heroes, each with their own character-specific abilities, to challenge the vampires and their followers. The open world of Redfall blends the familiar with the extraordinary, with players fighting through cultist outposts and supernatural psychic spaces as they piece together Redfall’s many mysteries. If it’s anything like Arkane’s most recent release, Deathloop, we are going to be in for a treat.
Redfall releases on May 2, 2023, on Xbox Series X and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store and Microsoft. The game will be free on day one for Xbox Game Pass.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom – May 12

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom takes place in a transformed and expanded Hyrule with new towns, caves, and mysterious chasms waiting to be explored. Link has new abilities like Ultrahand, Fuse, Ascend, and Recall, which can be used creatively to build, battle and play in new ways.

Humanity – May 16
Humanity is a third-person puzzle-action game where players control a dog to lead massive crowds of people through 90 story-mode stages. The game offers a mix of puzzles, platformer-like levels, and epic boss battles. Users can browse an ever-growing library of user-generated stages, or create and share their own using the intuitive Stage Creator.
Humanity is available in both standard display and optional VR mode. The video game releases on May 16, 2023, for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, PlayStation VR/VR2, and PC via Steam.
The Outlast Trials – May 18
The Outlast Trials, by Red Barrels, has developed a new game where players are recruited as human test subjects by the Murkoff Corporation to test advanced methods of brainwashing and mind control during the Cold War era.
Players can choose to play alone or in teams of up to four and must survive by avoiding enemies and hiding or fleeing from them. The game also includes character customisation, upgrades, and perks to fit each player’s playstyle, as well as the ability to investigate and collect evidence against the Murkoff Corporation. If players survive long enough and complete the therapy, they may be allowed to leave, but the question remains whether they will be the same; very spooky.
The Outlast Trials is releasing in Steam Early Access on May 18, 2023. If you want to learn more about the game, you can go here.
