Mooneaters, Untold Tales and VARSAV Game Studios have partnered together on the ambitious, cozy farming adventure, Everdream Valley, releasing in Spring 2023.
While this might be Mooneaters first game, Untold Tales and VARSAV Game Studios are both involved with countless other titles. Untold Tales is known for publishing Gamedec (Nintendo Switch), and VARSAV Game Studios released Giants Uprising in 2021. Fortunately, if you’re a fan of cozy, laid-back farming games with a dash of magic, it looks like they have created a real treat.
What is Everdream Valley?
In Everdream Valley, players will embark on a journey to restore their grandparents’ farm while enjoying the simple life of growing crops, raising animals and making new friends. Each day presents new challenges and opportunities to explore the valley’s pristine woods, fishing spots and hidden nooks, all while bonding with a variety of wild and domesticated creatures. Every animal in this game has its own unique personality and set of skills that can help you protect your farm and discover new lands.
One of the standout features of the game is the dream sequences that take place at night. Players can transform into various farm animals to complete mini-games and earn special rewards. Whether you’re flying as a bird, digging as a mole or jumping as a rabbit, you’ll be entranced by the magical aura of the valley and its many secrets.
Apart from farming and animal care, Everdream Valley also offers a range of side activities to keep you engaged, such as camping, bug catching, treasure hunting, photography and furniture crafting. You can even adopt a dog or a cat as your loyal companion and teach them tricks to help you out on the farm.
Everdream Valley is releasing in Spring 2023 on PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. There is currently a free demo available on Steam.
