Zenless Zone Zero is getting a third beta that features a whole host of new improvements, as well as a new character, and you can sign up for it right now.
HoYoverse’s upcoming gacha game, Zenless Zone Zero, has already had two closed betas. Both times, players seemed to enjoy the game, although they had a lot of feedback for the developer. Fortunately, it seems like that feedback was listened to. A third beta, called the Amplifying Test, is dropping, and fans are definitely going to want to check it out.
Zenless Zone Zero Is Getting a Third Beta
The third and potentially final closed beta for Zenless Zone Zero has been announced, with much-improved gameplay. The beta will feature significant changes to both combat and Hollow exploration, including to their overall pacing and flow. Most players who tried out the previous betas had complained about the flow of combat. So, it seems like HoYoVerse has listened to feedback.
Additionally, a brand-new character, called Zhu Yuan, will be introduced in this new beta. There will also be a new faction called the New Eridu Public Security’s Criminal Investigation Special Response Team (what an absolute mouthful), brand-new Bangboo mechanics, and a new combat challenge called Shiyu Defense.
Perhaps most important, however, is the updated Hollow Deep Dive System, or HDD. This has received multiple improvements, including allowing players to start boss battles without any additional steps. There will also be the addition of the TV Wall, also known as the Hollow Board. This handy tool will allow players to explore the Hollows far more efficiently, thus drastically improving the overall game flow.
So, if you’ve been hoping to try out Zenless Zone Zero before its official release date or want to see what the new changes bring to the table, then now is absolutely the time. Fortunately, anyone can sign up for the beta, although not everyone is guaranteed access.
How to Sign Up for Zenless Zone Zero’s Beta
You can sign up for the Zenless Zone Zero Amplifying Test closed beta via the official website. Simply access the website, click the Sign-Up button in the bottom right, log in or register an account, and then select the platform you wish to play it on. There is also a quick survey you can fill out, but it’s completely optional. It’s important to note that the beta is only going live for PC, Android, and iOS. For some reason it is skipping consoles entirely.
Zenless Zone Zero is expected to launch on consoles eventually, much like HoYoverse’s other games like Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail. However, if you were hoping to try out this new beta on PlayStation or Xbox, you’re out of luck. This will obviously upset some fans, but as the beta is available on mobile, almost everyone will be able to try it out.
