Manor Lords may be coming to Xbox, but can PlayStation fans also expect a port any time soon? Here’s what you need to know.
There aren’t nearly enough strategy games on PlayStation. While we have the likes of Crusader Kings and Mount & Blade, there’s no Total War successor on console. Fortunately, Manor Lord is fixing that. Well, at least on Xbox. However, if you’re a PlayStation fan, you may be wondering when you can expect to see Manor Lord on PS5. Unfortunately, it may be quite a long wait.
Is Manor Lords Coming to the PS5?
No, Manor Lords is not coming to PlayStation 5 or PlayStation 4 at launch. It likely will not be released on PlayStation consoles for a while, if ever. Of course, it hasn’t been ruled out. However, so far, only an Xbox port of the game has been confirmed. The developer, Slavic Magic, and publisher, Hooded Horse, have neither confirmed whether a PlayStation port is possible or in the works.
When answering a Reddit post about a potential PS5 port, publisher Hooded Horse said, “All we’ve announced at the moment is that, sometime after the initial PC early access release, Manor Lords will come to Xbox consoles and Xbox Game Pass.” Of course, PlayStation enthusiasts will clutch onto the “at the moment” portion of that reply. However, while it’s certainly possible that we’ll get a PlayStation port eventually, unless Microsoft has some form of unannounced exclusivity deal, it won’t be for a while.
Of course, Manor Lords needs to go through its PC Early Access phase first before any console ports are released. So, fans should wait until 1.0 drops for a proper PlayStation announcement.
