As it sounds, the Jetpack allows players to whiz around the map at great speeds and easily reach high-up locations. However, it’s not immediately clear how to get the Jetpack or even use it. How to Get the Jetpack in Lethal Company
The Jetpack can only be purchased from the Terminal in Lethal Company. You must enter the ‘store’ command and then buy it for 700 credits. To do this, head to the Terminal at the back of your ship and input the following commands:
- “store”
- “Jetpack buy”
- “confirm”
The Jetpack is one of the most expensive items in the game, and as such, you need to be careful when deciding to purchase it. While it certainly has its uses, it can be risky to try and save up for it, especially if you die and lose everything you’ve collected for that day. So, think twice before deciding to buy the Jetpack.
How to Use the Jetpack in Lethal Company
To use the Jetpack in Lethal Company, press the Left Mouse Button to ignite it and WASD to move forward, left, back, and right. Simply move the mouse to look around, as you would when playing without the Jetpack. The controls are straightforward to master, but the sudden burst of speed can be tricky to get a hang of at first. When first using it, start by taking short trips in more open spaces. Additionally, try jumping before igniting the Jetpack, as it’ll give you additional momentum to make ascending much easier.
It is important to note that you must be extremely careful when using the Jetpack. Using it for too long will cause the Jetpack to explode. Additionally, the Jetpack will explode if you crash into objects or structures a few times. Finally, you will take fall damage if you drop and hit the ground while using it. When coming back down, try to slow your descent by turning the Jetpack on and off in quick succession.
