Hades 2: How to Get & Use Silver

Silver is an incredibly valuable resource, especially early on in Hades 2. If you’re looking to get more of it, then we’ve got the guide for you.

Hades 2 has so many different materials for you to gather that it can be hard to keep track of what you need. One of the most important materials in the early game is Silver. Fortunately, it’s relatively easy to come by, especially once you get your hands on the Crescent Pick. Below, we explain exactly how to get Silver and what you can use it on in Hades 2.

How to Get Silver in Hades 2

To get Silver in Hades 2, you must mine ore veins with your Crescent Pick Gathering Tool. You can find ore veins randomly in Erebus, and they look like rocks with lots of silver moons on them. Simply head over to an ore vein, and press RB on controller or E on keyboard to mine it. You can get three Silver per ore vein before you can no longer mine it.

How to Unlock the Crescent Pick in Hades 2

To unlock the Crescent Pick Gathering Tool in Hades 2, you must first get the Night’s Craftwork Incantation at the Cauldron in the Crossroads. It costs 1 Moly to make, and once you’ve done it, you’ll be able to craft tools at the Silver Pool.

Head over to the Silver Pool, and you’ll see a list of Tools you can make. Select the Crescent Pick and pay just 1 Ash to make it. It’s fairly easy to get Ash, and you’ll need plenty of it to get more Arcana Cards. Once you’ve got your Crescent Pick, simply head into Erebus and start mining.
