Hades 2: How to Get & Use Glassrock

Glassrock, or G Rock, is a very valuable resource in Hades 2 that you’ll need plenty of to craft one of the game’s best weapons. Here’s how you get it.

Glassrock, which is occasionally referred to as G Rock in certain menus, is a fairly important material in Hades 2. While it isn’t quite as rare as Zodiac Sand, it’s fairly difficult to get your hands on, especially if you don’t know where to look. Fortunately, we’ve detailed it’s exact location for you below, so you don’t get lost searching for it.

How to Get Glassrock in Hades 2

To get Glassrock, you must mine it from mining veins in the Fields of Mourning using the Crescent Pick Gathering Tool. The mining veins you’re looking for are tall, sharp, black shards. You can also use the Reagent Sensing Incantation to help you locate them. Once you find the mining vein, hit it three times, and you’ll get three Glassrock.

To get to the Fields of Mourning, you’ll first need to get through Oceanus and defeat the Scylla and the Sirens boss fight. Unfortunately, Fields of Mourning isn’t a particularly large region, and Glassrock isn’t guaranteed to spawn. So, you may have to head there several times in order to farm enough Glassrock.

To ensure you have the best chance of coming away with the most G Rock, we recommend you upgrade the Crescent Pick. This will ensure you get more Glassrock per deposit you mine. However, you’ll need Glassrock to upgrade the Crescent Pick, so keep that in mind.
