Players will need to find and hide in a Cardboard Box in Fortnite in order to complete one of the Solid Snake Battle Pass quests. Here’s where you find them.
As part of this Season’s Battle Pass, players can unlock the iconic video game character Solid Snake from the Metal Gear Solid franchise. However, to get your hands on his skin, you’ll first need to complete a series of challenges. One such challenge includes a fun hommage to the Metal Gear games, as it sees you needing to hide in a cardboard box, much like our bandana-clad hero. Fortunately, if you’re stuck looking for a Cardboard Box in Fortnite, we’ve got you covered.
All Cardboard Box Locations in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 1
Players can find the Cardboard Box Mythic inside of chests all across the island. Additionally, you can purchase one from the Solid Snake NPC, who is located on the island north of Lavish Lair. It costs 100 gold to buy the Cardboard Box, but it is also the only way to guarantee you’ll get one in a match. You can see the exact location of Solid Snake in the image below.
Once you’ve bought the box, you’ll want to equip it and then throw it at the ground. Next, jump into it by pressing the interact button and wait for 10 seconds. This will complete one of the Solid Snake Battle Pass quests. Additionally, while you’re in the box, you should move 150 meters, as this will complete one of the Weekly quests.
