The beloved Final Fantasy 7 game, originally released in 1997, has been undergoing a complete ground-up remake, starting with the fantastic Final Fantasy 7 Remake that came out in 2020. With the release of Final Fantasy 7 Remake, Crisis Core Reunion, and now, most recently, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, many fans wonder whether the Remake trilogy is complete.
Is Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth the Last Game?
No, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth is not the last game in the Final Fantasy 7 Remake trilogy of games. It is only the second game in the Remake trilogy. There will be one final game after Rebirth, which will release at a later date. However, it is the third game in the list of remakes of Final Fantasy 7.
Despite being the third game in the list of remakes for Final Fantasy 7, Final Fantasy 7 Remake is thankfully not the last we’ll see of Cloud and his trusty band of lovable misfits. This is because Rebirth is the second part of the planned Remake trilogy of Final Fantasy 7 and is not part of the main story.

Thankfully, players have lots to get stuck into before then, including 14 main story chapters and 36 side quests across the game’s six open-world areas: the Grasslands, Junon, Corel, Gongaga, Cosmo Canyon, and Nibel regions.
