Unicorn Overlord: What Is the Card Game & How to Get it

If you were hoping to get your hands on the Unicorn Overlord card game, there are still a handful available. Here’s how to get it.

Unicorn Overlord’s Collector’s Edition came with a whole host of fun bonuses. However, by far the best one is the limited edition card game, which comes with an impressive number of cards, many of which are based on the in-game characters you’ll recruit. Of course, for avid card game enthusiasts as well as anyone keen on physical collectibles, this is the dream bonus. However, stocks are quickly dwindling, so if you want to get your hands on it, you’ll have to act quickly.

What Is the Unicorn Overlord Card Game?

The Unicorn Overlord card game is a 2 to 4-player competitive game in which players must compete to gain the most renown. Each turn, players use their cards to earn might, and whoever has the most might by the end of that round wins a renown. Whoever has the most renown by the end of 5 rounds wins.

The card game comes with 239 illustrated cards, as well as various tokens and a box. It is exclusive to the Collector’s Edition, known as the Monarch Edition. You can watch the full breakdown of the game by Atlus themselves below.

Where Can You Get the Unicorn Overlord Card Game?

You can get the Unicorn Overlord card game either separately through secondhand sellers via sites like eBay or in the Collector’s Edition, known as the Monarch Edition. However, while there are still a few sites, which we’ve listed below, that have the Collector’s Edition available brand-new for PlayStation and Xbox, the Nintendo Switch version is out of stock everywhere. Additionally, in the UK and Australia, every version is currently out of stock. It seems the only way you can get it is from secondhand sellers, typically ones from the US.

Unfortunately, due to the limited edition nature of both the card game and the Collector’s Edition, it’s hard to get your hands on it now. You’ll just have to wait for a lucky price drop on eBay, or hope it comes back in stock, although it’s unlikely to. For now, that’s everything you need to know.
