Unicorn Overlord is Vanillaware’s biggest game to date, offering players a vast fantasy world to explore and complex strategic gameplay. Of course, this has resonated with the PC crowd and has gotten Steam users wondering if the game will ever be ported to their preferred platform. Unfortunately, while console users can enjoy it from day one, it’s looking like PC players may need to wait, potentially forever.
Is Unicorn Overlord Coming to PC?
No, Unicorn Overlord will not be coming to PC or Steam. It is launching exclusively for PlayStation, Xbox, and the Nintendo Switch. This is because Vanillaware, the developers of Unicorn Overlord, never release their games on PC. Unfortunately, this means that fans hoping to play Unicorn Overlord on Steam are out of luck.
This was the exact same issue players faced with Vanillaware’s other recent title, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. Fans are still hoping that it will get a PC port despite it releasing back in 2020. Of course, there is always the chance that it will eventually release on PC. After all, if it proves to be popular enough, Vanillaware may change its mind. However, it seems incredibly unlikely, considering its history of never porting to PC.
