Sand Land: How to Get Quartz

If you’re looking for Quartz in Sand Land but struggling to find it, don’t worry. We’ve got you covered with the easiest ways to get Quartz.

Quartz is a very rare resource in Sand Land. Players will need it to increase the number of EX Chip Slots in their vehicles. However, getting your hands on Quartz is no easy feat. It’s exceptionally rare to find it in the wild, and while you can buy it, you’ll need to complete a specific side quest first to get the shop that sells it. Fortunately, we’ve explained exactly how to get your hands on Quartz in the guide below.

How to Get Quartz in Sand Land

There are two ways to get more Quartz in Sand Land: mining ore or purchasing it at the Trading Post. The easiest method is to buy it at the Trading Post, as you can get four Quarts for just one Ancient Copper Coin. Of course, you’ll need to search ruins in order to get Ancient Copper Coins, but there are plenty scattered across the map. Additionally, if you activate a nearby radio tower, all the ruin locations will be revealed. You’ll also want to explore ruins in order to get Ancient Gold Coins, which can be used to unlock treasure maps.

To unlock the Trading Post, you’ll need to complete the side quest Treasure Trek, which you can get near Aro Village Ruins. This just involves bringing Halvar one Ancient Copper Coin. Once you complete it, Halvar will set up the Trading Post in Spino.

Alternatively, you can get Quartz by mining Silver Ore Veins. However, you’re not guaranteed to get Quartz from Ore Veins, as it’s completely random. You’ll know if an Ore Vein has dropped Quartz as it looks like a purple crystal. Additionally, the area that has the highest concentration of Silver Ore Veins requires you to be at least level 10. So, you’ll need to be prepared for that. If you can’t afford to pay for Quartz at the Trading Post, then try the northwest and southwest sides of the map to find Silver Ore Veins.
