Hellblade 2: Is it Coming to PlayStation?

Hellblade 2 is right around the corner, and PlayStation fans who enjoyed the original are likely wondering if it’s coming to PS5. Here’s what you need to know.

Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice, the first game in the series, launched on both Xbox and PlayStation to critical acclaim. It has been a long wait for the sequel, but fans can finally rejoice as it’s releasing very soon. However, we have some bad news for those who played the original game on PlayStation.

Is Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 Coming to PlayStation?

No, Hellblade 2 will not be coming to PlayStation. It is launching exclusively for the Xbox Series X/S, Xbox Game Pass, and PC. Unfortunately, this means that anyone on PS5, and especially PS4, will be missing out on the next entry in the Hellblade franchise. This is because Ninja Theory, the developer behind Hellblade, was acquired by Microsoft back in 2018, just a year after Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice was released on all platforms, including PlayStation.

Of course, it’s not impossible to imagine Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2 coming to PlayStation 5 eventually. After all, not only did the original game launch on PlayStation 4, but several Xbox exclusives, including Hi-Fi Rush and Sea of Thieves, have also launched on PlayStation. This is all in an effort to bring Xbox games to as many players as possible, a tactic that seems to be profitable for Microsoft.

However, at launch, Hellblade 2 will not be available on PlayStation. So, if you want to give it a try, you’ll either have to play it on Xbox or PC. That’s everything you need to know about Senua’s Saga coming to PlayStation. For more guides just like this one, be sure to check out our Guide Hub.
