In Rise of the Ronin, giving gifts to your allies can help improve your Bond, so here are all the details on how to do it and the best gifts to give each character.
Rise of the Ronin allows you to gain closer allies or explore romances by providing gifts to your favorite characters. However, figuring out their preferred gifts can make all the difference. Below, we detail how to give gifts to your allies and the best items to give in Rise of the Ronin.
How to Give Gifts in Rise of the Ronin
You must start a conversation with the character to give gifts to them in Rise of the Ronin. There will be an option saying, “I have something for you,” choose this, and select the item you wish to give to the character. If you can’t find the character, you can access your Bond screen from the Main Menu, which should show their location. You can also sometimes find them in your longhouse.
When offering gifts, you can choose any item that pops up on the screen, and all items will raise your Bond and, in some cases, Favor with the character. Some gifts will be greatly received, and characters will respond well to their favorite gifts and react neutrally to gifts they are not particularly fond of. Building bonds is part of the game and helps to give new weapon combat styles, gear, and even skill points, which can be essential to deepening the Bond. Therefore, you must provide the best gift to the various characters to speed up the process. Luckily, we have listed the best ones for each character below.
