Lethal Company: What Is Arachnophobia Mode & How to Turn it On

Lethal Company now has the option for players to turn on an Arachnophobia mode. Here’s what it changes and how to turn it on.

Lethal Company is, first and foremost, a horror game intended to scare the living daylights out of you as best as possible. It does so with its plethora of terrifying enemies, from creepy nutcrackers to giant spiders. Fortunately, it still caters to those who can’t quite handle certain aspects of its horror, specifically spiders. For those with genuine fears of the eight-legged critters, Lethal Company has you covered with an Arcahnophobia mode. Below, we explain what it does and how to turn it on.

What Is Arachnophobia Mode in Lethal Company?

The Arachnophobia mode in Lethal Company turns all of the spider enemies into red text that says “spider”. Spiders will still act like normal enemies, but instead, they will look like red text, which will fall over when killed. This mode is to help players with arachnophobia, or a serious fear of spiders, enjoy the game more. We’ve seen similar modes appear in other games, such as Grounded. Of course, even if you don’t have a fear of spiders, it can be funny to see the text wiggle its way down a corridor toward you.
