The Radar Booster is an incredibly useful item in Lethal Company, but some players may be wondering what it does. Here’s what you need to know.

Lethal Company may be a spooky horror filled with blood-curdling monsters, but it gives the player plenty of ways to survive. From an assortment of incredibly helpful tools to accessibility options that make the game less scary, you should have no trouble meeting your quotas with your pants unsullied. One such incredibly helpful tool is the Radar Booster, a relatively cheap item that will help you in more ways than one. But what exactly does it do, and how do you get it? Below, you’ll find everything you need to know.

How to Get the Radar Booster in Lethal Company

To get the Radar Booster in Lethal Company, you must purchase it from the Terminal for 60 credits. Head over to the Terminal, type in “store”, then “Radar Booster”, then “confirm”. It is one of the cheaper items in the game and definitely worth picking up as early as possible. However, it comes in at a little more than some of the more essential items, such as the torch.

To use the Radar Booster, you’ll need to press the left mouse button to activate it and then G to drop it. You want to drop it in a location where your other teammates aren’t actively searching. Then, head back to your ship and scroll through your list of players via the camera on the computer. You’ll be able to select the Radar Booster from there.

You can also use the ping and flash on the Radar Booster to notify your friends whenever there’s something nearby or to help them escape. However, it’s worth noting that the flash will blind your friends if they look in its direction. Additionally, the flash and ping noise will attract nearby monsters, so use it carefully.

What Does the Radar Booster Do in Lethal Company?

The Radar Booster is essentially a portable player, as it can be placed anywhere in the Facility and then monitored via the camera on your ship. You can also use it to emit a pinging sound as well as a flash of light to help signal to other players that they are in danger or guide them to the exit. There are several other uses for the Radar Booster outside of these basic functions.

For example, if placed advantageously, it can be used to watch a certain location for monsters, scout out unexplored areas, or even check to see what is behind locked doors. However, if you’re playing solo, it’s not particularly worthwhile, as it’s really better used in conjunction with other players.
