Four players in LEGO Fortnite

LEGO Fortnite: Does it Autosave?

LEGO Fortnite doesn’t feature a traditional manual save mechanic, but does it have autosave? Here’s what you need to know.

LEGO Fortnite is a pretty engrossing game, one that you’ll easily spend hours upon hours in during a single session. From constructing structures to gathering resources, there’s plenty to do. So, if you were to lose all of that progress suddenly, it’s fair to say you’d be a little disappointed. Typically, this is where autosaving would save the day, literally. Autosaves, as the name suggests, automatically save your game and progress for you at regular intervals. However, it’s not immediately clear if LEGO Fortnite has autosave. Fortunately, we’ve answered below if it does.

Does LEGO Fortnite Have Autosave?

Yes, LEGO Fortnite does have autosave. The game will periodically autosave, ensuring that you don’t lose any progress in your world. There is no way to manually save in LEGO Fortnite other than for one of the server’s keyholders to leave the world. This also means that if the game crashes and you’re all booted from the server, any progress made up to that point will be saved.

Of course, if a server’s keyholder leaves, then everyone is kicked from the server. So, it’s best for that person to let everyone know when they’re quitting. That way, any progress being made won’t be interrupted, and it’ll give all players a chance to wrap up whatever they were doing. Of course, if you’re leaving early, you can make someone a keyholder to allow them to continue playing. It’s worth noting that you can’t turn off autosave either, as it is the only way for the game to save.
