Hades 2 Technical Test Signups Are Available Now

Hades 2, the next installment in the Greek mythology-themed roguelike series, has finally received an update, and players can sign up for an upcoming technical test.

Hades 2 is the sequel of the roguelike of the same name, developed by Supergiant Games. The first game saw players fighting to escape from the depths of the Greek underworld while playing as the son of Hades, Zagreus. Players will take on the Titan of Time Zagreus’ sister, Melinoë, in the sequel. Fortunately, for players who can’t contain their excitement, signups for the technical test of Hades 2 are available now.

Supergiant Games Announced Hades 2 Technical Test Signup

Currently, players can sign up for the Technical Test for Hades 2, which is only available on PC. The process is simple and requires players to go to the official Hades 2 Steam page and click the “Request Access” button. Furthermore, if you wish to use Keymailer, Supergiant Games has set up the official page here. Although the game will launch in Early Access, this Technical Test is a different scenario. Some players who sign up will get to join, and Supergiant will work on bug fixes and improvements. As the test goes on, more players will be invited, and the cycle will continue until it is done. The test is a process that gives way to a smoother Early Access launch.

While Supergiant Games doesn’t have a concrete answer to the length of the Hades 2 Technical Test, they estimate it to be longer than a week but shorter than a month, as per their blog post. In terms of content, players in the test will get to venture through the first significant dungeon of the game. Comparing it to the first Hades, Supergiant says it’s the equivalent of reaching the end of Tartarus. As with other Technical Tests, the data will not be carried over to the Early Access launch.
