Best Fighter Weapon Skills
The best Weapon Skills for the Fighter Vocation to use are Blink Strike, Airward Slash, Shield Bash, and Compass Slash. These are all easily obtainable and can then be upgraded into their more powerful versions: Burst Strike, Cloudward Strike, Shield Pummel, and Full Moon Slash.
The Blink Strike Weapon Skill allows you to travel a huge distance, easily closing the gap between you and any long-range enemies. Additionally, it deals a lot of damage and can stagger enemies if they’re caught off-guard. It’s especially useful as a traversal ability and also doubles up as a powerful attack.
The Airward Slash Weapon Skill is absolutely necessary, as it ensures that you can actually contribute towards defeating flying enemies. It shoots you up into the air before slashing down with your sword, hitting anything in your path. It can take flying enemies down in one hit, pinning them to the ground and making them vulnerable to your regular attacks.
Shield Bash is a helpful Weapon Skill as it can break an enemy’s guard and send them flying. It’s also a good defensive move that can get you out of trouble, as it pushes you forward, away from any enemies that may be attacking from behind.
Finally, the Compass Slash Weapon Skill sees you spin in a circle, much like Link, hitting anything nearby. This essentially allows you to deal damage to multiple enemies at once and also potentially stagger them all. It’s especially useful if you’re surrounded, as it’ll knock them back, giving you some breathing room.
