After almost 12 years since the original graced gamer’s screens, Dragon’s Dogma 2 is finally here. As a huge and sprawling open-world RPG, players should expect to sink countless hours completing a plethora of side quests, taking down intimidatingly large monsters, and, of course, beating the main story. It’s a huge adventure and one that will take you a long time to beat. However, if you’re wondering just how long it’ll take to finish, don’t worry! How Long is Dragon’s Dogma 2?
Dragon’s Dogma 2 will take players 35 hours to complete the main story and to see the end credits roll. To complete the majority of the side content as well as the main content, it will take 50 hours. For those wanting to see everything the game offers, you’re looking at 100+ hours to do it all. This includes finishing the main story, completing all of the side quests, unlocking every achievement, and exploring the entire map.
Players will have 16 main quests and over 50 side quests to complete. Additionally, there are a number of achievements to unlock, including one that requires you to discover at least 50 dungeons. There are also 240 Seeker’s Tokens to collect, each of which is hidden in the open world, and a new game plus mode. Finally, you’ll need to do all of this with limited means of fast travel. So, there’s easily enough content in the game to keep you playing for more than 100 hours.
Dragon’s Dogma 2’s Game Director, Hideaki Itsuno, confirmed in an interview with Game Informer that it will take players about the same amount of time to beat it as it did the first game. However, while this is true for the main story, Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a much longer game when you factor in its larger world and side quests.
