Can You Play Exoprimal Offline?

Exoprimal is a multiplayer shooter releasing soon, but players are curious if you can play it offline as well.

Capcom has been discussing the upcoming shooter Exoprimal, and the Capcom Showcase gave players a glimpse of what to expect. In this 5v5 team-based game, players must complete missions faster than the opposing team while facing hordes of dinosaurs. With a dual focus on PvP and PvE, some players may be wondering if Exoprimal can be played offline.

Is Exoprimal Online Only?

Unfortunately as stated by Capcom, the game is an online team-based action experience. Therefore, it is an online-only title. Players must have a stable connection and be connected to the servers to take part in matches online. As such, the story narrative can only be played through online matches.

Matches have the possibility of having AI teammates but, unfortunately, those looking to play a strictly AI match with no players, are out of luck. With the matches mostly focusing on players fighting the dinosaur hordes during missions, there is only a small element of PvP. Therefore, the gameplay loop should look appealing to those who are not into the player vs player elements.

Will Offline Play Ever Be An Option?

Even though it is certain there is no offline mode launching with Exoprimal, a chance for offline could possibly happen in the future.

No work is currently being done for a solo or offline version of the story. However, there is always a possibility that the game might one day provide an offline mode. Only time will tell.
