Capcom Showcase 2023: Everything That Was Announced

Capcom is continuing Summer Game Fest with its event to showcase the exciting announcements they have to offer. The Capcom Showcase looks to offer more information about titles already released and future titles developed by Capcom.

Here are the announcements from the 2023 Capcom Showcase, as the event unfolds.

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of The Goddess

Kunitsu-Gami was previously shown during the Xbox Showcase. However, the new footage premiered by Capcom gave a glimpse into the gameplay and the aesthetic will look like including different kaleidoscope instances.

Kunitsu-Gami will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. No release date was mentioned.

Mega Man X DiVE Offline

A new Mega Man is coming. The game will feature over 100 characters in its roster and 900 stages to play on from the entire franchise.

Mega Man X DiVE Offline will release on IOS, Android, and Steam in 2023.

Street Fighter 6 Roadmap

Street Fighter 6 was just released on June 2, 2023, but the roadmap for the upcoming fighters was shown again during the Capcom Showcase. You can check out our review of the game here.

The Street Fighter 6: Fighter Pass is beginning in Autumn 2023 with the release of A.K.I. Street Fighter 6 and the Fighter Pass are available now on PS5/PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and Windows.

Pragmata

A new cinematic trailer was revealed for the long-awaited Pragmata. It showed stunning visuals of what the game will look like and gameplay snippets of what to expect.

The game was delayed beyond 2023.

Exoprimal

A deeper look into Exoprimal was given. It showed viewers a preview of the story and the different types of exosuits you can use against the dinosaur hordes. A collaboration with Street Fighter 6 was previously announced. A second open beta test is scheduled from June 16-19. Registration is open now.

Exoprimal is releasing on July 14, 2023, for PS5/PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.

Dragon’s Dogma 2

Dragon’s Dogma 2 was announced during the PlayStation Showcase in May. The game’s director Hideaki Itsuno revealed some new gameplay details during the trailer. Next generational features such as AI companions will make them feel like real players. Itsuno also discussed that the game world will be four times the size of the original game.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 has no official release date but will drop on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and Steam.
