According to a recent leak, XDefiant’s release date is set to be right at the end of March 2024. Read on to find out more!
XDefiant is Ubisoft’s answer to Call of Duty and Battlefield, offering frantic online FPS gameplay that’s free-to-play. The game had a popular multiplayer Beta back in June 2023, which made shooter fans eager to see what the full game has to offer. It turns out that they may not need to wait very long, as XDefiant’s full release seems to be just on the horizon if you believe the leaks.
XDefiant Release Date Is This March, Says Leaker
According to X (formerly Twitter) user XD_cLeaRz, XDefiant will launch for Ubisoft+ users on March 31 and for everyone else on April 4. Apparently, Ubisoft+ members can download the game on March 30 and then play it from March 31 to April 3. XD_cLeaRz goes on to say that XDefiant will launch for all other players on April 4. This is exciting news for shooter fans looking to play something other than Call of Duty, The Finals, and Battlefield 2042. However, it’s very important to take the above leak with a generous grain of salt, as not much is known about this supposed leaker.
XD_cLeaRz appears to be a community manager and XDefiant enthusiast with a background in coding. They seem to have uncovered the above information by digging into the URL of a privately listed video on Ubisoft’s YouTube channel.
Despite not having much to go on at this stage, the suspected release date seems to line up with XDefiant’s previously reported launch. Last month, the game’s executive producer, Mark Rubin, revealed in a Q3 Sales Report that XDefiant will release sometime before the end of March 2024. Though it doesn’t match up with the supposed April 4 release revealed in the leak, it seems to almost hit the mark. Fans will have to wait to see whether the leaks are accurate. They shouldn’t have to wait long to find out!
