When is the Next LEGO Fortnite Update & What To Expect

LEGO Fortnite has an abundance of possibilities for players to explore, but when will the next update arrive, and what can we expect?

Since Chapter 5, Season 1 of Fortnite introduced LEGO Fortnite into its selection of modes, it has taken the world by storm. Players have been obsessed with the exploration, building, and secrets the world offers, along with progressing their villages as fast as possible. However, players may find they want more to do, and luckily, more updates are expected to keep the game fresh and further improve the world of LEGO Fortnite. Below, we outline what to expect from the next update.

When Is The Next LEGO Fortnite Update?

There is currently no release date for the next LEGO Fortnite update. However, it should be expected during the beginning of 2024. LEGO Fortnite on X (formally Twitter) has mentioned they have a lot planned for the game, which includes new content updates, in 2024.

Although players can expect this next update in early 2024, it should be noted there is a possibility that this update could come to fruition at the beginning of Fortnite’s next Season. This is due to Chapter 5, Season 1, finishing on Friday, March 8, 2024, which is still considered the beginning of 2024. Either way, this next update is guaranteed to come soon for players to enjoy.

What To Expect From The Next LEGO Fortnite Update

The next update will bring a pool of content into LEGO Fortnite for players to enjoy. Although LEGO Fortnite on X (formally Twitter) has not stated what will be included specifically in the next update, we can expect some potential game-changing content in the next couple of updates. Multiple reliable Fortnite leakers have mentioned numerous pieces of content that players should be excited to see join their worlds since the launch of LEGO Fortnite.

Leakers have found numerous new additions that will be introduced to LEGO Fortnite in the future. Considering some of these are singular items and not extremely complex ideas, it is likely these will be included in the next LEGO Fortnite updates for the beginning of 2024. Below, we list some of these future additions.

Weapons

Gravity Gun

This gun will allow the player to pick things up and throw them at other things around them to their liking. Although this gun is currently unfinished, the Gravity Gun is expected to have three variants in LEGO Fortnite: Rare, Epic, and Legendary.

Stud Gun

The Stud Gun is currently found in the ‘Ranged Weapons’ category and is a fully automatic, flexible assault rifle that is reliable in any combat scenario. It’s possible this weapon will need its own ammunition, much like the Crossbow in LEGO Fortnite.

Bow

Although it may be confusing that a Bow will be added since players already have access to a Crossbow, the Bow will allow for charged-up attacks. This could be used to face future and current enemies. However, there is a possibility that the Bow will be scrapped.

Consumables

  • Meat Stew
  • Vegetable Stew
  • Cactus Fruit
  • Smoothie
  • Carrot
  • Banana
  • Watermelon
  • Blueberry
  • Raspberry
  • Cherry
  • Coconut
  • Sandwiched Egg
  • Cookie
  • Mushroom
  • Lemon-line
  • Blueberry Pie
  • Apple Juice
  • Raspberry Juice
  • Blueberry Juice
  • Carrot Juice
  • Night Bloom Petals

These consumables should include temporary bonuses, including improved jumping height and additional damage output.

Mobs

Horn Beetle

The Horn Beetle is an upcoming mob being introduced in LEGO Fortnite future updates. Not much is known on where to find the beetle or defeat it. There is a possibility that it could have a similar method to killing Rollers in LEGO Fortnite due to its shell similarities. However, the only confirmed information we know about the Horn Beetle is that it will drop its horns as a collectible when killed.

Compass

The release of a Compass would be one of the most sought-after items players have been wanting included in LEGO Fortnite due to how easily players can get lost, even with access to a map. Luckily enough, one has been found with the spooky edition of a Cursed Compass, which happens to be less useful as it seems not to point North.

Zipline

A Zipline has been leaked, which is something players will be pleased to have access to, as it is a much-needed mobility item for LEGO Fortnite’s vast world. These Ziplines will also be customizable by connecting them to other Zipline poles, which additionally keeps the versatility of Ziplines endless.

Cannon

A Cannon has also been leaked, and it will work similarly to the Cannons that have been found around Fortnite over the years. This means players can enter the Cannon and fly away from danger. The LEGO Fortnite Cannon will also have the ability to shoot out Shells at enemies, which is currently not possible in standard Fortnite. Hopefully, this Cannon doesn’t shoot sideways like its Battle Royale counterpart.

Catapult

Similar to the Cannon, a Catapult has also been leaked and launches things from a distance. This will be a helpful addition to LEGO Fortnite as fighting Brutes can be difficult, but this machine can help ease the experience for players.

Peddling Traders

Traders will finally be coming to LEGO Fortnite. These will be beneficial throughout the game due to the versatility of each available Peddling Trader. There are currently three types of Traders that will be coming soon:

  • WOLF: I’m called Wolf… I’m in the business of trading everything necessary for construction.
  • FOX: The name is Fox. If you’re hungry, I’ll sell you some snacks!
  • RACCOON: My name is Raccoon. If you bring me some nice junk, I’ll exchange it for all kinds of junk!

Each of these traders will be helpful no matter what you are doing in LEGO Fortnite. However, the Raccoon may become one of the most beneficial as you’ll be able to trade things you most likely don’t want or need.

LEGO Fortnite Steering Wheel

Steering Wheel

A Steering Wheel in LEGO Fortnite has been a much-discussed topic, as players have no option to control the builds they are currently creating.

Fortunately, due to a leak by the official LEGO Fortnite account on X (formally Twitter), we can confirm that a Steering Wheel will be coming to Fortnite in the near future. You can read more about the details here.

Nya from LEGO Ninjago, ShiinaBR

LEGO Ninjago

The official real-world LEGO set of LEGO Ninjago can be expected to be added to LEGO Fortnite at some time in the future. This addition is expected to be one of LEGO Fortnite’s largest content updates, as leakers found a massive number of LEGO Ninjago files some time ago, which has only continued to expand.

LEGO Ninjago is expected to bring a huge pool of content for players, including enemies, locations, Ninjago-inspired building materials, and more. There is a possibility there’ll also be more Ninjago Skins to see and grab in addition to the other ninjas, as a new survey went out to a selection of people mentioning the addition of Nya from Ninjago. Due to this set having a dense amount of content, LEGO Ninjago could possibly be seen getting added in the early 2024 update.

Community Suggestions

LEGO Fortnite has also mentioned that they want to continue collaborating with the community on what players want to be included in LEGO Fortnite’s future. As Fortnite is known for its fantastic communication with the community online, it’s not a surprise they want to add things players want.

This means that anything possibly mentioned by the community will be taken into account by the game, which keeps the possibilities endless in what can be included. If you are looking to share your ideas with LEGO Fortnite, you can join in on the conversation on X (formally Twitter), or if you’d like to speak directly to the community, LEGO Fortnite also has an available Discord server.

That’s everything we currently know about what could possibly be added in the next LEGO Fortnite update in early 2024. If you’d like to find more information like this, feel free to check out our latest news and guides on LEGO Fortnite via our Game Hub.
