Stellar Blade: How to Farm SP

If you want to unlock every Skill in Stellar Blade, you’ll need to farm SP. Fortunately, it’s relatively easy to do, especially with these tips.

Players will earn one SP every time the SP gauge reaches 100%. Killing enemies and completing missions, including side quests, will earn the player SP. While you’ll earn enough SP to complete the story on the Normal difficulty without the need to grind, some players may feel like they should unlock every Skill. Fortunately, farming SP is relatively easy, especially thanks to the generous Camp placements.

How to Farm SP in Stellar Blade

The best way to farm SP in Stellar Blade is to switch the difficulty down to Story Mode and to use the Training Gear. Then, simply find a location, such as the Library in Edios 7, or either of the open locations (Wasteland and Great Desert) and grind enemies near Camps. That way, you can kill the enemies there, earn additional SP from your Training Gear, and then reset the enemies back at Camp.

It’s important to note that you won’t really need to farm SP in Stellar Blade. You’ll earn enough SP by just playing through the main story, completing a handful of side quests, and killing whatever you see. By the time we finished our 25-hour playthrough, we had unlocked absolutely everything without doing any grinding. Of course, if you want to farm SP, then use the below methods.

Tips For Farming SP in Stellar Blade

The Training Gear is a piece of equipment that boosts the amount of SP EXP you gain by 20%. It’s incredibly useful, and the only way to actually increase the amount of SP gain you get. Make sure you equip the three-star version, as this will boost it by 20%. Of course, any version of it will work, but the lower the star-rating, the lower the boost to your SP gain.

Additionally, make sure to unlock the Ambush and Assault skills. These cost 1 SP each and allow you to stealth attack enemies. The Assault skill allows you to insta-kill enemies directly below you, so long as they haven’t spotted you. Similarly, the Ambush skill lets you insta-kill enemies in front of you. All you need to do is sneak up behind or above them and then press Triangle when prompted. This will instantly kill them but still earn you the exact same amount of SP, shortening how long it takes to farm them.

Finally, picking the right spot is key to farming SP in Stellar Blade. The Library area in Edios 7, which you reach by either heading to the end of Silent Street or by heading backward from the Parking Tower Second Floor Camp, is perfect for farming SP early on. There are four enemies there that you can clear quickly, especially if you have the Ambush Skill. Alternatively, try the Wasteland and Great Desert areas, as they’re packed with monsters and optional boss encounters that will earn you a lot of SP.
