Yes, the New Zealand trick will work for Stellar Blade as it has a midnight local release time. This means, when it turns 12 am on April 26 in New Zealand, around 13 hours before the UK and 18 hours before the US, they will get access to the game. Everyone else will have to wait until it turns midnight for them, or use the New Zealand trick to gain early access.
However, pulling the New Zealand trick off on PlayStation is a little complicated. It requires you to switch your account’s region to New Zealand and then purchase Stellar Blade via the New Zealand PlayStation store.
