Eve from Stellar Blade

How Long to Beat Stellar Blade?

It will take players quite a long time to complete everything Stellar Blade has to offer. But just how much time should you expect to sink into it?

Video game length has drastically shifted in the past ten years or so. If it doesn’t consume our every waking moment, then, to some, it’s not worthwhile. Similarly, for many players, if you can’t beat it in a weekend, the investment isn’t worth it. Fortunately, while Stellar Blade isn’t a neverending open-world experience, it still offers a plethora of content.

How Long Is Stellar Blade?

Stellar Blade will take players 18 to 20 hours to beat the main story and see the end credits roll. To beat both endings, it’ll take an extra 30 minutes to an hour. Completing all of the game’s side quests, including all Requests, will take players 25 hours. To do absolutely everything, including the main story, side quests, and collecting all of the Exosuits and Cans, it will take players 30 hours. Of course, your mileage may vary, especially depending on how difficult you find the game, as it’s surprisingly challenging. Fortunately, there is a Story Mode difficulty setting, which we suspect will drastically reduce people’s playtime.

This information is based on our own playtime. After 25 hours, we unlocked every Exosuit, found half of the Cans, and completed every main and side quest. The game only has a handful of locations, most of which are linear, that can be revisited. However, once you reach the point of no return, you cannot revisit any of these locations. So, make sure you’ve completed everything you want to before finishing the story.

It’s worth noting that the CEO of ShiftUp and the game’s director, Hyung-tae Kim, told Korean outlet RULIWEB that it would take players 25 hours to beat the main game and between 30 to 50 hours to complete everything. Honestly, we’re hard-pressed to find how it could take this long to do absolutely everything, especially if you unlock the drone attachment, which makes it easier to find Cans.

Nevertheless, Stellar Blade was designed to be a singular experience that players could actually complete and not an endless live service-esque experience. So, while it offers plenty of content, you don’t need to worry about being committed to it for the next ten months. Additionally, despite offering around 25 hours of content, its file size is actually quite small. That’s everything you need to know about how long it’ll take to beat Stellar Blade.
