The Fortnite Big Bang event revealed many collaborations, one being the exciting LEGO mode. But what exactly can fans expect from it?

Fortnite has given players three brand new modes to experience very soon, one of them being the much-anticipated LEGO mode that has been teased since the announcement of The Big Bang event. However, while many have likely longed for a LEGO crossover in Fortnite, few can probably imagine how it’ll play out. Fortunately, we are finally in Chapter 5, Season 1 of Fortnite, and the new mode is almost out. So, what can players expect from the LEGO mode in Fortnite? Below, we highlight the details.

What Is The LEGO Mode In Fortnite?

The LEGO mode in Fortnite will be an open-world experience featuring exclusively LEGO skins and a greater focus on crafting. It is releasing on Wednesday, December 7, 2023. In this mode, you’ll find yourself in a LEGO world and must make your way through a survival adventure using crafting. You’ll also have the option to invite up to 16 other players, which will help this new game mode be increasingly more enjoyable as you experience it with others.

Players will also have the option to create a survival or sandbox world. They can customize elements such as the seed number, enemies, hunger, temperature, stamina, elimination, drop inventory, and friendly creatures. However, once these changes have been implemented when you create your world, you won’t be able to change them. This was all confirmed after the LEGO Group X account (formally Twitter) announced its collaboration with Fortnite.

Can You Use Fortnite Skins & Emotes in LEGO Fortnite?

Yes, you can use your Fortnite skins and emotes in the LEGO mode, so long as it is supported. There are over 1,200 supported skins available in the LEGO mode, however, none of the crossover skins will be available. Additionally, some skins may also have more details than others. However, in future updates, the quality of all skins will be increased, as well as new ones added in.

Official real-world LEGO sets are also expected to get added to LEGO Fortnite. Recently, leakers have found a massive number of LEGO Ninjago files, which we can expect to be released at some point in the future, along with other sets based in the LEGO universe.
