Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged: New Features Showcased

Hot Wheels Unleashed 2: Turbocharged was announced earlier this year, and there are a lot of new features coming that look to improve upon its predecessor.

Italian studio Milestone released Hot Wheels Unleashed back in 2021. The game was every racing fan’s dream to race on a Hot Wheels track, featuring over 40 tracks, 66 cars, and many different diverse licensed DLCs for players to expand their car collection.

The game allows players to play online multiplayer with 11 other racers, as well as design their own tracks to race on. It currently sits at a great score on Steam with 81% of its reviews being positive.

The sequel looks to take the original formula and improve heavily upon it. The base game roster looks to add over 130 vehicles, with new categories such as ATVs and Motorcycles. Plus, there is a brand new story mode, online co-op, and much more.

  • New jump traversal: Using boost, players can now jump or double jump their vehicles to find new shortcuts on the track or overtake opponents while avoiding obstacles.
  • Lateral dash: Racers will now be able to be more aggressive on the track by using the dash to shift left or right into their opponents, forcing them off the track.
