Developer Vector Unit has announced the second piece of DLC for their critically acclaimed Kart Racer, Beach Buggy Racing 2: Island Adventure.
Beach Buggy Racing 2: Island Adventure is one of our favourite games here at the Game Crater. We gave it an 8.5 out of 10 when it launched. When its enormous Hot Wheels Booster Pack DLC came out we showered that with praise too, awarding it an 8.5 as well. Additionally, if you’re a fan of our podcast, Crater Corner, you’ve likely heard us talk about it with much admiration. Fortunately, if you’re as big of a fan of this fun-filled Kart Racer then you’re in luck, as Vector Unit has released another piece of DLC for you to enjoy.
Beach Buggy Racing 2 Oddball Car Pack DLC
The new DLC, titled The Oddball Car Pack, brings four new cars to the game. The DLC cars are as follows:
- Commander: a 6-wheeled tank capable of crushing everything in its way
- Quick Slice: a station wagon that cooks pizza as you drive
- Royal Flush: a toilet (need we say more)
- Invader X: an extra-terrestrial ship ready to take the races to new heights
Every car will come unlocked once you’ve purchased the DLC. Additionally, by completing each car’s vehicle mission you’ll unlock an exclusive gold skin for them.
The DLC costs $4.99 and is available for all consoles. Head on over to your storefront of choice to pick it up.
