Vector Unit has teamed up with Mattel, Inc to bring the Hot Wheels Booster Pack DLC to the addictive Beach Buggy Racing 2: Island Adventure.
The Hot Wheels Booster Pack will be available for purchase on May 12, 2021, for Switch, Xbox, PlayStation, and Steam PC. You will need the original game for the DLC to work.
Beach Buggy Racing 2: Island Adventure is an incredibly fun and addictive kart racer that we prefer to Mario Kart. It is the perfect couch co-op racer with split-screen competition and game rule customisation. You can play any mode in the game or on your own, including the story-driven Adventure mode. According to the NPD Group, Hot Wheels was the 2020 Global Top-Selling Toy of the Year. Therefore, it only makes sense for Vector Unit to teach up with the enormous toy brand.
What is included in the Hot Wheels Booster Pack DLC?
The Hot Wheels Booster Pack DLC adds new legendary Hot Wheels cars and racetracks to Beach Buggy Racing 2: Island Adventure. Any Hot Wheels DLC wouldn’t be complete without the signature twisting orange track pieces. Fortunately, they make an appearance as well. Players can complete missions to unlock new vehicles, custom paints and decals, win trophies, and collect medallions in challenging stunt missions.
The new features are listed below:
- Seven legendary Hot Wheels cars, including Rip Rod, Surf ‘N Turf, Bone Shaker, Twin Mill III, Donut Drifter, Hotweiler and Loco Punk.
- Earn trophies in the new Hot Wheels Championship.
- Four exhilarating Hot Wheels-themed tracks, including Volcano Blast, Hot Wheels Harbor, Looptastic Stadium, and Frostfire Vale.
- Five new Hot Wheels Cup events added to the Adventure map.
- New Hot Wheels Stunt Challenges added to every track in the game.
- Six new Achievements to unlock.
