Assassin’s Creed Mirage File Size Revealed

Assassin’s Creed Mirage looks to follow the trend of its predecessors when it comes to file size as details have been unveiled.

The game length is going back to the series norm of older games, and the file size looks to follow. Games in this console generation can be upwards of 100+ GB, which is taxing on a standard hard drive. Fortunately, Assassin’s Creed Mirage looks to have a much more manageable file size.

Players can expect about 35GB of space needed on consoles and 40 GB on PC for Assassin’s Creed Mirage. The details for the game’s file size on consoles were confirmed via the official Xbox website. Similarly, the PC version’s file size was confirmed through an official post by Ubisoft.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is around the same size as some of the older titles in the series, for example, Assassin’s Creed Black Flag, which took up 30GB. However, it is much smaller than the most recent game in the series, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which requires a whopping 160GB.

The size comparison between Valhalla and Mirage isn’t all that shocking. The newest entry is revealed to be a much more scaled-down title. Mirage is shorter in both story length and world size than Valhalla. Having both of those components reduced can be a relief for players as it prevents them from losing interest in a dragging story and they don’t have to worry about it taking up a lot of their hard drive space.

Many modern single-player games tend to be massive. Cyberpunk 2077 is reaching over 87GB with the newest update and story expansion installed. Additionally, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor requires well over 150GB of free space to play on consoles.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage has a perfect file size to match its length, and many can breathe a sigh of relief.
