Players are waiting with excitement to find out the release date of The Finals after a successful open beta in November.
In The Finals, players join teams and compete in tournaments set in virtual arenas that resemble real-world locations. These arenas are not only battlegrounds but also interactive environments that players can manipulate, exploit, and even destroy to gain tactical advantages. During its Open Beta back in October and early November, it had an all-time peak of 267,874 concurrent players on Steam. Unfortunately, now that the beta has ended, and with so many people playing the game, you might wonder when the full release date is. Don’t worry, as we have you covered. Below, we explain exactly when you can expect The Finals to drop.
There is currently no release date for The Finals. Originally, it was advertised that it would be released in 2023, with the developer telling fans to expect it in 2023 on the FAQ page of their discord.
However, considering the beta ended on November 5 – it is now expected to be released in early 2024. While it is possible that The Finals could be released in December 2023, the chances are relatively slim at this point. Of course, as soon as developer Embark Studios announces the official release date, we will update our article.
The game will be released only on next-generation consoles, including PS5, Xbox X|S, and PC. It will be completely free to play. However, fans should expect to see some microtransactions, as with all free-to-play titles.
