The Finals is available on PC and consoles, but can those on PS4 and Xbox One still play it?
Developer Embark Studios’ latest title, The Finals, has been building up quite a lot of hype, with fans eager to try it out. The fast-paced shooter is available for PC, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5, but is it also playable on last-gen consoles? If you’re still on PS4 and Xbox One, don’t worry. We’ve got you covered. Below, we explain if The Finals will be released on PS4 and Xbox One.
Can You Play The Finals on PS4 & Xbox One?
No, you cannot play The Finals on PS4 or Xbox One. Unfortunately, the game is exclusive to PC and next-gen consoles, including PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. This has been confirmed by the developers, with no last-gen version planned for the future.
While it is possible that a last-gen version will be released, the game is incredibly demanding and requires a significant amount of processing power that the last-gen consoles wouldn’t be able to provide. As such, it seems unlikely that a PS4 or Xbox One version of The Finals will ever be released.
Fortunately, the game is completely free to play. So, if you have a PC and want to see if you can run it, you’ll be able to do so at no extra cost. Of course, if you’re a console-exclusive gamer, then you’re out of luck. However, if you’re still interested in playing The Finals, check out our Game Hub for the latest guides.
