Geoff Keighley’s Summer Game Fest is currently in full swing. This grand event serves as a remarkable exhibition of forthcoming video games, marking the beginning of a month-long series of presentations by various publishers.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is currently in development by Ubisoft as a side-scroller hack-and-slash.
The game introduces a new story, bringing back the same iconic gameplay elements that started the series. More information will be at the Ubisoft Forward. It releases on January 18, 2024.
Mortal Kombat 1
Mortal Kombat 1‘s new story and character gameplay were revealed, including Kenshi, Johnny Cage, and many others.
The Kameo system was discussed as well, letting you choose a specific character to bring in to assist with combos. You can check out the trailer here.

Path of Exile 2
Path of Exile 2 was shown with gameplay for the ARPG sequel. Showcasing different moves as well as the environment.
The trailer finishes promising more information on July 28th, so we can look forward to that.
Street Fighter 6 x Exoprimal
Capcom’s new dinosaur shooter Exoprimal is collaborating with Street Fighter 6 to introduce the classic Street Fighter elements to the game.
The collaboration is coming in the Fall, with Exoprimal launching on July 14. The game will release on day one for Xbox Game Pass.
Dead by Daylight x Nicolas Cage
As a huge surprise, Nicolas Cage was brought onto the stage to announce that he is debuting as a survivor in the asymmetrical horror survival game, Dead by Daylight.
The Nicolas Cage chapter releases on July 25.
Witcher Season 3 on Netflix
The new trailer for the latest season of the hit Netflix show, The Witcher, premiered at Summer Game Fest.
The Witcher Season 3 will be released in two parts, with volume 1 launching on 29th June and volume 2 arriving on 27th July.
Witchfire
The developers of Bulletstorm are creating a first-person shooter with a horror aesthetic, named Witchfire. The Summer Game Fest trailer showcased gunplay of weapons such as crossbows, and shotguns.
Witchfire will release in Early Access on September 20, 2023.
Remnant 2
Remnant 2, the sequel to Gunfire Game’s hit title, will release on July 25, 2023. Surprisingly, this release date is incredibly soon.
Remnant 2 is viewed as a souls-like game with guns, featuring a fantastic co-op experience as well.
Honkai: Star Rail
Honkai Star Rail, developed by Genshin Impact’s studio Mihoyo is getting a console release.
The trailer showcased gameplay for the mobile game, and a sneak peek at the abilities of new characters coming to the game.

Sonic Superstars
Sega announced Sonic Superstars, with the game returning to the side-scrolling formula of the original titles but in a 3D format.
The game will feature a four-player coop, allowing players to choose between Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and Amy. It was shown to have a Fall 2023 date.
Lies of P
Lies of P, an upcoming Souls-like game where you play Pinnochio, received a new release date in its trailer. You can check it out here.
It will release on 19 September 2023, and a demo is available on all platforms now.
Sandland
Bandai Namco revealed Sandland, the next title with an Akira Toriyama art style. Most notably, Toriyama is the artist behind Dragon Ball and Dragon Quest.

Throne and Liberty
Throne and Liberty is the new open-world MMORPG by NCSoft and Amazon Games.

Warhaven
Warhaven, by Nexon, released a new trailer, where you bravely face off against hordes of adversaries in medieval-style conflicts,
Party Animals, Dying Light 2, and Crash Team Rumble
Party Animals, Dying Light 2, and Crash Team Rumble all showed brief snippets with new content coming for Dying Light 2 and gameplay for Crash Team Rumble and Party Animals.
Alan Wake 2
Alan Wake 2 is coming on October 17, 2023.
The gameplay for the upcoming sequel from Sam Lake was shown. It will feature both Alan Wake and the new character Saga Anderson as playable characters.

Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2
Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2 showcased its co-op gameplay.
The game will have a three-player coop campaign and is expected to release in Winter 2023. You can check out the trailer here.
Yes, Your Grace: Snowfall
Yes, Your Grace is receiving the sequel treatment.
The indie game sequel, Yes, Your Grace: Snowfall, features pixel art and depicts developing a kingdom during the winter.

John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando
John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando was shown as a surprise announcement.
Focus Entertainment and Saber Interactive are making the game in partnership with Hollywood Director John Carpenter. Snippets of gameplay were shown and it is a first-person zombie shooter. It is expected to release in 2024. You can check out the trailer here.
Baldur’s Gate 3
A new character for Baldur’s Gate 3 story was introduced. The actor who plays Lucius Malfoy in Harry Potter, Jason Issacs, will be portraying the game’s main villain.
Baldur’s Gate 3 will release on August 31, 2023. You can check out the trailer here.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
Insomniac Games made an appearance to announce that the upcoming sequel to Marvel’s Spider-Man had an official release date of October 20, 2023.

Pal World
Pal World premiered another trailer, which is basically a game centered around “if Pokemon had guns”.
It will release in Early Access in January 2024.
Black Desert
Black Desert is receiving another expansion based on Korean folklore. It is called Land of the Morning Light.
Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria
A new Lord of The Rings game is in development and will be a survival crafting game, similar to Minecraft. Gameplay was shown in the trailer today.
Fall 2023
Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis
Square Enix announced that a closed beta for the upcoming mobile game will be starting today and run unit June 28. The game will encompass different stories from the Final Fantasy series.
It has no official release date but will be available for iOS and Android devices.
Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden
A fantasy story developed by the studio behind the Life is Strange series. It will feature choices that affect the story just like their previous titles.
Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden released a trailer with a Q4 2023 release date.
Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name
Like A Dragon: Gaiden is releasing on November 9, 2023. It is the next spinoff in the Yakuza series developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku. It will once again feature series protagonist Kazuma Kiryu.
Under The Waves
Parallel Studio is developing an underwater adventure in a similar vein to Abzu, named Under The Waves.
It will release on August 29, 2023.
Call of Duty Warzone Season 4
Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone Season 4 is coming out on June 14, 2023.
A trailer debuted for the next season of Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2. It showcased different maps that will come out with the season and a collab with streamers NickMercs and TimTheTatman.
Fae Farm
Another addition to the farming-sim genre but with a twist. Fae Farm will feature fantasy elements such as characters you can befriend, different fantasy crops, and more.
Fae Farm is available as of September 8, 2023
Marvel Snap
Marvel Snap announced it has a new elimination mode coming to the mobile card game on June 13. This will be a tournament style mode
Twisted Metal
The trailer for the live-action Twisted Metal TV series was debuted by Will Arnett, the actor playing Sweet Tooth. The footage shown was of Sweet Tooth fighting Anthony Mackie’s character.
Lysfanga
Developed by Sand Door Studios, Lysfanga is an isometric action game in a similar vein to Hades. The trailer showcased that players will fight enemies with their past selves.
The title is being published by Quantic Dream and has a release date of 2023.
Immortals of Aveum
A new trailer debuted today for Immortals of Aveum. It showed off more gameplay for the first-person magic shooter and revealed the main protagonist Jak and other characters for the narrative.
The game is being developed by Ascendant Studios and has a release date of July 20, 2023, on all platforms.
Fortnite Wilds
Fortnite Chapter 4, Season 3, titled Fortnite Wilds, is releasing June 9th 2023.
The trailer showcased the battle pass skins, which include the infamous Optimus Prime from Transformers.
Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth
The end of Summer Game Fest premiered a surprise trailer for the next installment of the Final Fantasy 7 remake, Rebirth. The trailer showed gameplay for Cloud & co, revealing the game as PS5 only, similar to Final Fantasy 16, and will have 2 discs.
The game has a release window of early 2024.
