XDefiant’s Release Date Has Been Confirmed

After a long wait, Ubisoft has finally announced the release date for their upcoming free-to-play shooter, XDefiant. Fortunately, fans won’t have to wait long.

Ubisoft’s Call of Duty competitor, XDefiant, was only available to players for a short time during its public Server Test Session a couple of weeks ago. Now, after many delays, XDefiant has finally confirmed its release date, and we’re getting close to release.

When Is XDefiant Releasing?

XDefiant is scheduled to launch on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and exclusively on PC through Ubisoft Connect. It has also been announced that XDefiant will have a six-week preseason before heading into its seasonal cadence. Players can expect a lot of content to enjoy when jumping into XDefiant during its preseason, as the content itself has been shared to prepare players.

XDefiant Preseason

XDefiant has a content-filled year ahead for every player who joins. However, those who engaged in the Server Test Session and Insider Session should note that the rewards they unlocked during these sessions will be accessible when they hop into XDefiant at launch. New Ranked Mode Practice Playlist

Practice the upcoming ranked mode and fight your opponents in 4v4 competitive matches. This specific playlist will include 4v4 versions of Domination, Occupy, Escort, and Zone Control.

XDefiant one-year roadmap

Each season, XDefiant will introduce new content for players to enjoy. In only one year, players are expected to see four new factions, 12 new weapons, 12 new maps, and the seasonal battlepass. This will happen in three-month intervals throughout the year. Players can officially get excited for XDefiant as the wait is almost over.
