Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League: Does the New Zealand Trick Work?

Players can access Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League early by pre-ordering it, but can they get it even earlier by using the New Zealand trick? Here’s what you need to know.

Whether you’ve pre-ordered Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League to get 72-hours Early Access or are sticking to the standard edition, you’ll likely want to jump in as early as possible. Fortunately, you can normally do this using the New Zealand trick. This works by changing your platform’s region to New Zealand, as games tend to be released there before any other country if they get a local release. So, does the New Zealand trick work with Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League? Here’s what you need to know.

Does the New Zealand Trick Work for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League?

Yes, the New Zealand trick does work for Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, as it is releasing at midnight local time worldwide for both the Early Access version and the standard version. This means that it will be released first in New Zealand, releasing 13 hours earlier than in the UK and 18 hours earlier than in the US.

Unfortunately, PC players can not use the New Zealand trick, as it will be released on January 30 (and subsequently February 2) at 10 am PT/1 pm ET/6 pm GMT/7 am AEDT (January 31/February 3). Xbox users can switch their console’s region to New Zealand in order to access it early by going to Language and Location in their System settings. However, PlayStation users will need to switch their region and then buy it through the New Zealand storefront.
