Indie developer Skinny Bandit and publisher PID Games have launched their gorgeous 2D co-op platformer game, Mari and Bayu: The Road Home.

If you’re at all a fan of Ori and the Blind Forest or even games like It Takes Two, then you may just want to check out Mari and Bayu: The Road Home. It is the debut title of independent games studio, Skinny Bandit, although from its trailer you really couldn’t tell. This game looks incredible, both visually and mechanically. What Is Mari And Bayu: The Road Home?

Mari and Bayu: The Road Home is an adventure platformer set in a curious world full of bugs. The game follows the adventures of the ant Mari who is searching for her lost brother and Bayu, a colourful bubbly firefly who just wants to help. Taking on the role of either – or both – you’ll explore a gorgeously detailed world full of interesting characters, solve challenging yet accessible puzzles and so much more.
