Rise of the Ronin is not far away, and players are curious about when the review embargo will drop for the upcoming Samurai game. Here is what you need to know.
Launching on March 22 for PS5, Rise of the Ronin, developed by Team Ninja, the creators of Nioh and Ninja Gaiden, is an open-world action RPG. The game transports players to the end of the Tokugawa Shogunate in Japan, known as Bakumatsu, where players will control a Ronin, engage in diverse play styles, and partake in combat using a variety of weapons and equipment, including melee weapons, firearms, and thrown weapons. When Does the Rise of the Ronin Review Embargo Lift?
The Rise of the Ronin review embargo will end on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 4 am PT / 7 am ET / 11 am GMT / 10 pm AEDT. This time is the same time that the game will launch in New Zealand, meaning that players won’t have long to decide if they want to pre-order the game.
There is a pre-order bonus if players make up their minds on the game prior to release. However, New Zealand players will need to pre-order prior to reading reviews to receive the bonus.
Will There Be Rise of the Ronin Previews?
Rise of the Ronin will also receive previews from various media outlets on Monday, March 11, at 3 pm PT / 6 pm ET / 10 pm GMT / 9 am AEDT (Tuesday, March 12). You can check out the Game Crater preview here.
