The very much anticipated Persona 3 Reload will be released very soon, making fans wonder when exactly its review embargo will drop. Here’s what you need to know.
Fans have been excited for a remake of Persona 3 for quite some time. Fortunately, their dreams are finally coming true. Persona 3 Reload promises to do for Persona 3 what Persona 5 Royal did for its base game. However, to know whether or not it manages to pull off a successful transformation, fans need to wait for the review embargo to drop. Below, we’ve explained when players can expect it to drop.
When Does the Persona 3 Reload Review Embargo Drop?
The Persona 3 Reload review embargo will drop on Wednesday, January 31, 2024, at 9 am PST, 12 pm EST, 5 pm GMT, and 4 am AEDT (February 1). This is only 2 days before the game’s official launch date of Friday, February 2, 2024. This gives players just enough time to figure out if they want to pre-order the game.
Of course, it’s important to note that this is not an official date. It is based on when review embargos typically drop, especially for Persona games. Persona 5’s reviews dropped a whole 7 days before the game’s release. Conversely, Royal’s reviews dropped on the same day it was released. While it is possible that the review embargo for Persona 3 Reload could be earlier, it’s likely to be 2 days prior to release.
Fortunately, for those desperate to know how the game holds up prior to launch, there have been a number of previews released for the game. These have covered certain aspects, such as exploring Tartarus. Of course, if you want to know how the full game stacks up, then you’ll need to wait. It’s likely that the review will drop any time between Monday, January 29, and Friday, February 2.
