If you’re itching to play Persona 3 Reload, you’ll likely be hoping there’s a demo out now or on its way. Unfortunately, it’s not so simple.
A Persona 3 remake has been high up on fans’ wishlist for quite some time. Many have even been asking for a remake of the iconic JRPG in Atlus’ various polls. Now that it’s almost here, fans are eager to try it out for themselves and see all of the new changes. Of course, there’s no better way to do this than with a downloadable demo. However, those hoping they’d be able to get their hands on the game a little early with a demo may be a little disappointed.
Is There a Persona 3 Reload Demo?
No, there is no downloadable Persona 3 Reload demo currently. Players hoping to try out the game before buying it won’t be able to. Additionally, it seems highly unlikely that a playable demo for Persona 3 Reload will be released, considering none of the other Persona games have received a demo thus far.
However, there was a playable demo available at gaming conventions that media and attendees were able to try. Additionally, media outlets have been given access to a hands-on preview demo that they’ve used to write previews. Neither of these have been made available to the wider public outside of the conventions and won’t likely ever make it into the public’s hands.
Unfortunately, this means you won’t be able to try before you buy. However, while Reload is substantially different, you can pick up the original Persona 3 for markedly cheaper. This will give you an indication if the story and general vibes are interesting to you. Nevertheless, if you’re keen to just try out Reload, you’ll have to fork out for the full release.
