While Persona 3 Reload may take you upwards of 100 hours to beat, fans are already wondering if it’ll get any DLC. Here’s what you need to know.
Persona fans were treated to some incredible news when a remake of one of the most beloved Persona games, Persona 3, was announced. While for many, it’s existence is enough, there are definitely those of us who are wondering if it will get any DLC. After all, the more Persona, the better. Below, we explain if Persona 3 Reload will be getting any DLC, and, if so, when.
There is Persona 3 Reload DLC at launch, in the form of costume, Persona, and BGM sets. However, significant story DLC has not been announced, nor is there likely to be a major DLC. None of the Persona games have received major story DLC or DLC outside of additional costumes and BGM tracks. Persona 5 got upgraded into the Persona 5 Royale edition, which technically added new story content. However, even this was treated as a full release and not DLC for the base game.
Of course, it is possible that future DLC will be announced at some point. If enough people pick up the game and request more content, Atlus may give in. After all, Persona 3 Reload came about as a response to fan demand. However, considering it is a remake of an amalgamation of different versions of a game that released in 2006, it seems unlikely that there will be new DLC.
The available DLC for Persona 3 Reload are already included in the Collector’s Edition of the game. These can, however, be purchased separately through whichever storefront you use. Additionally, you’ll get access to the Persona 4 Golden BGM Set as a pre-order bonus for pre-ordering any edition of the game.
