LEGO has teased a potential collaboration with Fortnite and Epic Games with an image of a Lego Loot Llama.
Fans have been hoping for a LEGO x Fortnite crossover for some time, with rumors circulating a while back that something was in the works. Well, it seems like it’s finally happening, as LEGO has revealed a cryptic tease. Below, we explain exactly what’s going on with this potential LEGO x Fortnite collaboration.
LEGO Tease Fortnite Collaboration With “Lego Llama”
LEGO released a cryptic post on X (formerly Twitter) with an image of a Fortnite Loot Llama made out of LEGO, which has been dubbed the “Lego Llama”. The Lego Llama can also be seen in the Fortnite lobby screen on the left-hand side, drifting through space. While no official statement regarding a crossover has been released, it would appear that LEGO and Epic Games are joining forces.
A LEGO x Fortnite collaboration has been rumored for quite some time. Of course, this reveal of the Lego Llama only helps to fuel the hype. However, while it does appear that something will happen, it’s not clear what. It’s possible a LEGO Fortnite set will be revealed, or perhaps it will be an in-game event with LEGO-themed skins. Regardless, many suspect it will be revealed during the Big Bang live event in Fortnite. It is happening on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 2 pm ET/11 am PT/7 pm GMT/6 am AEDT (November 3).
