Unfortunately, all good things must come to an event, and the Season will conclude with the epic Big Bang event. However, as the Season starts to wrap up, fans have noticed a strange countdown. What Is the Countdown For in Fortnite?
The countdown seen in Fortnite is ticking down before the Big Bang live event that is happening on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at 2 pm ET/11 am PT/7 pm GMT/6 am AEDT (December 3). This will be the conclusion of Chapter 4 as well as the Fortnite OG Season. Once the countdown reaches 0, the entirety of the map will be wiped, and Chapter 5 will begin.
Players can watch this live event in-game. Simply head into a match when the timer is close to reaching 0, and you’ll be able to watch it happen in real-time. It is similar to what happened at the end of Chapter 1 Season X, which saw Dusty Depot be destroyed and turned into Dusty Divot. Of course, it is also when players can expect the Eminem concert, as well as the release of the exclusive Eminem skins.
