You get Sand Shells in LEGO Fortnite exclusively from killing Sand Crabs on the beach. You will need to specifically kill the Sand Crabs with a yellow shell, as other crabs don’t drop Sand Shells. Sand Crabs can be found by the shore, where the water meets land, typically in desert biomes.
They’re quite dangerous, so you’ll need to be careful when approaching them. If you’re powerful enough, then you can take them head-on. Hit it as fast as you can to kill it quickly and claim your Sand Shell. Alternatively, if you get a Sand Crab to charge and fall into the water, it will die instantly, dropping the Sand Shell. This is the best and most efficient method and prevents you from getting hurt.
