To get Knotroot Wood, locate the closest cave system and look for light-colored roots hanging from walls and ceilings. These are Knotroot Wood deposits. You’ll need an Uncommon Axe to break them apart, and once you do, you’ll collect a small amount of Knotroot.
You can find caves easily by opening your map and looking for the small cave symbol. You won’t need to go far to find Knotroot deposits, but make sure to look around thoroughly in case you don’t find any immediately. Once you’ve gotten your Knotroot, head back to camp.
How to Make Knotroot Rods in LEGO Fortnite
To make Knotroot Rods in LEGO Fortnite, head to your Lumber Mill and find it under recipes. It costs 1 Knotroot Wood to make a Knotroot Rod. If you haven’t built a Lumber Mill, then you can do so from the Utility section in the build menu. It costs 8 Wood and 15 Granite to build a Lumber Mill.
