Hades 2: Which Gods Should You Give Nectar to First

It’s important you get the best Keepsakes as early as possible in Hades 2, and the way to do that is to give Nectar to the right Gods. Here’s which Gods you should prioritize first.

In Hades 2, you’ll encounter a number of mythological figures and Gods. You’ll be able to give the majority of them Nectar, a rare resource that isn’t the easiest to come by. Of course, in exchange, these Gods will give you a Keepsake, a powerful buff that can turn the tide of battle in your favor. However, considering how rare Nectar can be and how important getting the right Keepsakes is, you’ll need to know which Gods to give Nectar to first. Fortunately, we’ve explained exactly that below.

Which Gods Should You Give Nectar to First in Hades 2?

The Gods you should give Nectar to first in Hades 2 are Arachne, Dora, Hecate, Hermes, Odysseus, and Schelemeus. These give the best Keepsakes, and you’ll encounter them relatively early on. We personally recommend prioritizing Odysseus and Schelemeus, as their Keepsakes are the best ones you can get early on. Of course, based on the order in which you’ll encounter the various Gods, there are several good options for who you should prioritize. After all, there’s no point in holding onto Nectar needlessly if there are some Gods waiting for it. So, we’ve put together a list of every God that’s worth giving Nectar to early on:

  • Aphrodite
    • Keepsake: Beautiful Mirror – You’re more likely to get a boon from Aphrodite. You can rarify her Common/Rare/Epic blessings once this run.
  • Arachne
    • Keepsake: Silken Sash – Gain +20 armor. While you have at least 1 armor, gain +2/+3/+4 armor after each chamber.
  • Dora
    • Keepsake: Ghost Onion – Whenever you exit a chamber, fully restore your health, up to a total of 50/75/100 over the course of the run.
  • Hecate
    • Keepsake: Silver Wheel – After you use magick, restore it over 3 seconds, up to a total of 1,000/1,500/2,000 magick for the run.
  • Hephaestus
    • Keepsake: Adamant Shard -You’re more likely to get a boon from Hephaestus. You can rarify his Common/Rare/Epic blessings once this run.
  • Hermes
    • Keepsake: Metallic Droplet – You move, strike, and channel 20% faster for the next 200/300/400 seconds.
  • Hestia
    • Keepsake: Everlasting Ember – You’re more likely to get a boon from Hestia. You can rarify her Common/Rare/Epic blessings once this run.
  • Odysseus
